Janitorial/Activity Instructor

This position is designed for people who are willing to work behind the scenes to provide clean facilities for the camp community and want to be a strong cabin counselor. Unique to this position is that we will provide training for you to assist in activities if necessary.

2 males and 2 females are hired for this position. Each session (2 weeks), 1 female and 1 male are responsible for cleaning their respective bathroom facilities. The other two will be assisting in the cleaning of our dining room and kitchen. After 2 weeks, you switch.

Generally your cleaning responsibilities would take 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon, leaving the rest of the afternoon and morning each day to teach at one of the 30+ activities that we have at camp, depending on your personal experience and skills.

Food Service/Activity Instructor

This position is designed for hard working individuals who are willing to work behind the scenes as a team in Food Service to provide quality food and a clean facility.  Positions vary in the number of hours, and some possible positions include:

• An Assistant Cook works under the guidance of our main cook to independently serve a meal and supervise other food service staff.
• Dining Room or Dish Washer Coordinator trains, supervises, and works along-side of older campers (14 to 17 years old) and their peers to reset the dining room and clean dishes after the meal.
• Kitchen Aid follows the directions of the cooks or coordinator in prepping food, caring for the dining room, and serving food.
