Weddings - Facilities
Welcome to Foley
The Camp Foley sign welcomes you to camp. We have a chalk board welcome sign as well that will be customized for your event. Many people add flowers, plants or other decorations.
The Our Lady of Snows Chapel is often the scene of the wedding, either inside or outside. Built in 1934, The Chapel is a Minnesota Historical site and offers a beautiful backdrop for pictures even if you don't plan to be married inside.
Many people opt to be married outside the chapel, using the stair case as the focal point for the ceremony. Most people rent chairs to be set up however you could also have your guests stand.
Having your wedding parties close can offer an intimate space for the bride and groom. It also allows for great group shots before, during and after the ceremony. Readers can also stand on the stairs so that all guests can see them.
Inside the Chapel
The inside of the chapel seats about 120-130 adults comfortably. The wooden pews are original and there are overhead lights.
Some couples choose to lay a runner down the center aisle of the chapel.
Night Time Chapel
A night time chapel can make a very warm backdrop for your ceremony.
Great for small to medium sized groups.
The Bridal Cabin
Available as a great spot for the bridal part to get ready. A bathroom, shower and fridge are available as well as both heat and air conditioning.
Bridal Cabin - Inside
Plenty of space for a group to get ready including a couple separate bedrooms for privacy and to spread out.
Foley Green Ceremony
Many people opt to shift their focal point to the lake. Setting up chairs or a tent overlooking Whitefish Lake is a great way to showcase the natural beauty of the lakes area.
Most couples use one of our canoes to hold beverages. Soda, Beer, Champagne, Water or anything else you want, this cooler option is unique and sticks with the "camp" theme.
Available for your reception, the Dining Hall is generally the spot for dinner and dancing. A large front deck offers a great spot for cocktail hour and to set up your bar and guest book tables.
Our lighting package includes using bistro lights outside the dining hall. This allows guests to chat among the pine trees with a bit more ease and can make the out of doors look elegant. Matching lights also light up the inside of the Dining Hall.
Most couples put the bar on the deck of the dining hall which opens up more space inside and guests typically don't mind stepping outside to grab a drink.
Inside the Dining Hall
Our dining hall has lots of round tables and chairs. You can decorate as you like with linens and other tableware. Typically 2/3 are used for tables with 1/3 reserved for you DJ/Band and dancing.
The lighting package includes the bistro lights indoors.
One end without tables used for dancing.
There are 4 doors to the dining hall offering customized traffic flows for your event.
The Main Entrance to the dining hall has 2 doors allowing for easy entrance. Large windows give lots of light.
Round tables and wooden chairs are standard throughout the dining hall. Most people opt for table cloths and to leave the chair as is but you are welcome to cover the chairs as well.
Windows are large and offer lots of light. They line the entire edge of the dining room.
We have dividers that can divide the dining hall if you have a very small group.
Rustic cabins are available to rent. Bunk beds, electricity and wood burning stoves are included. Bathroom/shower houses are a short distance from the cabins.
Another shot of the bunks in the cabins.
The dock is a great spot for pictures and allows guests to get up close and personal with beautiful Whitefish Lake.
The large bathroom facilities have hot running water, big sinks, showers and toilets. There is also a private bathroom with single shower stall, toilet and sink. Both options are available with rented cabins.
Hot showers are perfect after a night in the cabins.

Vines and other natural looking decorations are great for the pillars of the stone chapel.
Banquet Table for Pizza
The butcher block is available inside the dining hall to use as a small table.
Most couples tend to keep floral arrangements simple and eloquent.
Polaroid Hanging Area
Go green by having guests use re-usable glassware instead of paper or plastic cups.
Whether you do cookies, cupcakes, pie or traditional cake, there are tables available to serve your sweets.
Pallets are great for showcasing menus, special thank yous or signage for directions around the facility.
Cards & Gifts
Space for cards and gifts is a must. Most couples choose to have them outside opposite the bar.
